« The Rosa...» by composer Martin Matalon (after texts by Jorge Luis Borges) in the framework of the festival d'ile de France, with contemporary music ensemble Ars Nova with: Philippe Nahon (direction), Diana Theocharidis (direction), Rodolfo de Souza (comédian).
For this project, Mr Echeveria has created short video anima- « Miniatures » (to borrow an expression of Borges) composed from computer drawings, made from the graphic palette, then captured. The starting point of these digital drawings is the symbolic evocation of the world of Jorges Luis Borges and respond to the music of Martin Mata-lon. It proposes to draw on a virtual material where, with each animation, time and method of creation, it is exposed. It is a drawing in motion, ani- mation and continuous metamorphosis. These video animations help illustrate Jorge Luis Borges' own universe, that of dream, a symbolic and fantastic space. These moving drawings are like punctuations, amplifying musical thought and animating the stage space.
